Live WebinarDescription
Many coders have never truly read the Guidelines found in the beginning of the ICD-10 book. There is a wealth of information to be found there. Coding software is not always compliant coding and it is incumbent on the coder to know the rules to know when to question. Issues like sequencing, history of, includes and excludes, ExludesI and ExcludesII, and assumed relationships between codes are all discussed in the pages found at the front of an ICD-10-CM book but that can also be downloaded for free. Learning what is in the guidelines, how easy it is to look things up and what valuable information is found on the pages of the book are all lessons to be learned as this audioconference is for both the new and experienced coder/biller
